Summer Fitness [Period 2, Friday]

As the class assembled at the Danger Shop, they were greeted by an entirely too-chipper Bond, and some very pretty scenery that would in no way have looked familiar to any members of the class if they were around.

"So," he began, once everyone had arrived. "I thought we'd have a relatively simple class today, and do a spot of cross-country running. Not a race though, it doesn't matter what order you finish the course in, so long as you finish." There, that wasn't in the least bit ominous.

"So, if you'll just slip the back-packs on, and follow me, that would be great."

...wait, back-packs?

The course is long, challenging, and involves numerous hills, valleys and various other inclines.

Mud-Pit - SF [Week 3]

Of course there's a mud-pit, why wouldn't there be?

It's about waist-deep, a good hundred metres long, and filled with thick, clay-like mud. On the bright side, the finish-line is just past the other side.

Cool down, watch other people finish, collapse in an exhausted heap and curse the day the teacher was born.

Kevin put on the backpack without a word of complaint. His shoulders had been feeling extra light anyway, what with the lifting of burden and nonstop guilt that came with dumping Toby.

Kevin knew Toby was somewhere behind him, but he didn't turn around. He did his best to stay ahead of everyone.

And so what if he was little gassy from breakfast? Every time he let one fly, he imagined Toby running right into waiting fumes.

The mud-pit was the least of Toby's troubles. He pushed through it in ways he would never be able to push through Kevin's random issues.

Kevin charged right into the pit. It felt good pushing through the muck with his aching muscles. Really good. Maybe Toby would fall down and get all that gorgeous Greek hair dirty.

God, that would be hot.

Toby was caked with mud. God this was gonna make for an awesome shower.

A mud-pit. Great. Johnny stepped in and began making his way across it, the mud making his progress slow. Maybe no one would notice when he heated his body up, melting the clay some to make getting through it easier.
