Library [18.07]
It was raining while Karal made his way to the library, something he didn't mind and Altra hated.
Neither had any idea it was purple.

Re: Morning
"Morning," he greeted, yawning in the middle.

Re: Morning
"I made Ino a Staff so she can fly on her own. I did it last night."
Re: Morning
"If you want to," Karal interjected. "And thank you for lunch."
Re: Morning
"No, no troubles."
He hadn't had them up at all during the process, which he'd known was a little dangerous, but as the danger had all been to him, he'd decided to go along with his plans.
"And I'd like to continue lessons, if you didn't mind. I've been studying, but it's all been rather specific."
He looked up to Karal.
"You're welcome. It was done up rather quickly, considering, but it all tasted good to me while I was making it."
Re: Morning
:Next week. Sometime when Karal's not in class.: Altra said. :You can show me what you've taught yourself and go from there.:
Re: Morning
"I'm glad you approve. There's also a couple of chocolate cinnamon brownies since I had some left over from the lot I made for the Rats earlier this week."

Re: Morning
He'd never really learned the idea of exercise for exercise's sake. It wasn't really the kind of thing that was prevalent in his society.
Re: Morning
Re: Morning
It was something he'd have to let settle in his mind.
"I suppose that's one way to get around," he said thoughtfully. "I've been flying a great deal, myself. It's very freeing."
Re: Morning
Re: Morning
It was the first time he'd really gotten anywhere near to mentioning how, well, rough the last few months had been. For one, he'd mostly been jamming things away and not dealing with them (some, not all, so there was improvement!). But for another, he was worried at causing anything like guilt or worry for Karal. He didn't want that, not at all.

"Though I might ask for some advice for the path I've set myself."

Re: Morning
"No, I don't know quite what it'll amount to, but what it comes down to is that I'd like to be my parent's son. Bring about the Oz they both wanted. Or try, anyway."
Re: Morning
Re: Morning
"But I think he'd want me to. Fiyero, I mean.
"I wanted one for years and years and now that I know who he was, well, I'd best do him proud."
He turned, to Altra and Karal both.
"The first step in not running away, I suppose, is not running away from my own world."

Re: Morning
"Best I get to work before I fall asleep in front of your door."

Re: Morning
"Good luck yourself," he said, realizing he hadn't said anything on Karal's own troubles. His mind occasionally got lost on the way to the thoughts he wanted to think, but it wasn't usually so slow.
"Oh, it's going to be a long day."
He smiled and waved to Karal as he trotted out, almost stumbling on his way out the door but recovering JUST before.
