How not to get Killed - July 8 - 3rd Period

Yondaime waited for everyone in the Danger shop and when the students filed in they would find themselves on top of a giant toad, looking out over a dark valley where an army fought a monstrous fox with nine tails.

He looked over his shoulder as everyone filed in. "Welcome everyone. This class is going to focus on ways to not getting killed in different situations. A good life lesson for anyone I think," he said continueing to grin brightly and ignoreing the scene that was happening behind him.

"Since today's the first class I'm not going to actually make you fight that," he said motioning to the fox behind his shoulder. "But you can suggest what you would do to survive the situation after you introduce yourselves of course."

"Well I'm going to start, since that seems to be the tradition. I'm Arashi Uzumaki, also known as Yondaime Hokage. Yondaime is my title, Arashi is my name. I'm not particular as to what you call me. I've been a ninja since I was six years old and this fight you see behind me?

Well, lets just say that back home they think I died from it."

Deidara had been completely prepared to be bored and possibly even mildly insulted by this teacher, too.

This would not be boring.

He hesitated before saying anything, studying his black-lacquered nails intently.

"They do think that, don't they?" Deidara finally said, looking up and grinning.

To say that Arashi was startled to see someone wearing that particular uniform would have been a complete understatement. It took every ounce of control he had not to attack him right then and there.

"So he sent you to spy on me? Is that it?" He glared.

"I'm Ella," Ella introduced herself, looking only slightly apprehensive about the class subject matter. "I've got no training as a fighter, but i would like to be able to take care of myself."

"Liir Thropp," he said as he looked out over the landscape. This was Ino's home, or something like it anyway.

"I've been taking lessons from my sister almost since I came here. And I'm still alive after I've been here over half a year."

Fight the Kyuubi

"So, the creature behind me was called the Kyuubi. A giant nasty demon fox with nine tails that could do no good. It was attacking my village and since it was a demon there seemed to be very few options to us on how to get rid of it and or survive it's continuing attacks."

He paused for dramatic effect... that and the Kyuubi took down a hill that caused a lot of noise.

"What would you suggest?"

Ella sounded very tentative indeed as she suggested, "Could it be reasoned with? Many creatures can be, if you know their language."

Though the fox didn't look like it was a talker, really.

Really...he was required to answer this? Deidara just smirked. "Sealing it works. Especially since jinchuuriki aren't nearly as strong as everybody claims. Thank you for making things that much easier!"

Temari just crossed her arms over her chest and looked at him to see if this was a genjtusu.

She knew the answer to this one already. And wanted to see if he did too.
