Library [7.8]

This semester was not going so well. 

First, she had missed the newbie picnic, and that was sad.  Then Dominic and Jurgens had signed her up for a class on relationships, and Anemone had spent most of that class boggling at the subject matter with her 'brother'. 

Today, there were bears.  Cute, fuzzy bears, and it had taken all of Anemone's willpower to actually go open the library rather than follow them around town today.  Considering how impetious she tended to be, this was actually a remarkable achievement.

As a reward, she'd checked out a pile of books about bears, and was currently entrenched at the desk, nose buried in one about a sweetie named Paddington.

The Fandom High Library was open for business, be ye newbie, veteran, or Ursidae.

Anemone was sprawled out on the floor behind the circulation desk, nose in her book. If you dinged the bell, she might admit you were there.

The bear didn't have any questions, but it did lumber up to the desk, rear up and put its front paws on it, and peer over it at Adhari.

Anemone would have to have been blind and deaf to miss the lumbering figure, and she did raise her head just enough to look over the book. "Oh, hi," she said, sitting up and stretching. "You need a library card?"

Being friends with Robin-froggie tended to warp her views of who and/or what was a student.

Gulliver just looked at his mistress like she was mildly insane before scooting to the (hopeful) safety of under the desk.

The bear who sucked at identifying people pulled a bottle of cool, delicious ribbon branded cola drink out of nowhere and offered it to her with an encouraging nod.

The. Bear. Was offering her a soda?

Setting her book down, Anemone got up and skipped over to the desk. Clasping her hands firmly behind her back, she rocked back on her heels as she studied her guest. "For me?" she asked finally, tilting her head. "Really?"

It nodded enthusiastically and did a little dance with its back feet as it thrust it towards her. It was also making big eyes, of the sort most commonly found on puppy dogs.

It was cute! Anemone clapped and laughed, doing a little dance of her own before accepting the cola. "Thanks!" she said, taking a sip. "Are you the new lunch delivery service or something?"

It flipped its ears happily and dropped down to the floor. And because Anemone had seemed so happy, it left half a dozen more bottles for her before it bounced out of the library.
