Viki turned that over in her head. How peculiar, how odd. How did you talk to a memory? Was it like talking to a picture? Or a like talking to a person?

How did it work...?

"Not... like that," Viki said. "Just that there's too many of them, so they blur and blend and then I forget so there's not too many of them."
