"But whe--" Chad's attempts to ask were interrupted by the fact that Teddy was kissing him. And that was something that hadn't happened in what seemed like a very long time, so, even though Chad was still terribly, terribly confused, Teddy was kissing him and he was closing his eyes to wrap an arm around him and kiss him back.

They did have at least two months missing time to make up for.

"I missed you," Teddy said, arms around Chad's neck. "A lot."

That felt like quite an understatement; Chad lowered his forehead, resting it against Teddy's. "You here just for a visit? Or...?" He left the question dangling unasked. Just seeing him was such a nice surprise. Holding him even better. He didn't want to push his luck in thinking that Teddy was actually back for good.

Or, well, until graduation, anyway.

"Back for the school year," Teddy replied, kissing him again. "I think Phyla and Heather are happy to get alone time again."

Yup, that caused a face.

"Eew. I didn't need to think about that."

Chad grinned a little at that. "But you're back."

Because that was more important, anyway. And maybe another kiss would help get Teddy's mind off of that.

"I am," He added, giving Chad a slightly shy look before kissing back. "I missed you so damn much."

"I miss you, too," Chad rumbled quietly, keeping good and close, as if to make sure that Teddy stayed back.
