"I live with my Dad in DC," Angela told her. "He was going away for a few weeks, and I figured this would be more fun than being home alone for the summer."

"Been here a half hour, and I'm already beginning to figure that out," Angela said with a chuckle.

"I've been here a year and I love the place. Great people, lots of nature and places to sketch." She shrugged and smiled. "I also tend to babble."

"Babbling is not a bad trait," Angela said, grinning at her.

"You draw too?" This place, for all the freaky, seemed to have potentally cool people.

She nodded. "I sketch and paint. I love art. I spend a lot of time with my sketch pads."

"None of my friends in DC got the attraction," Angela said. "We're misunderstood artists, right?" she continued with a lopsided grin.

"And we're few and far between," Angela continued.

She shrugged and addded with a smile, "Sometime, we're gonna have to get together, have coffee and draw things together, you know that?"

She nodded. "That definitely sounds like a must do," Savannah agreed. "They have a good coffee shop here and there are nice places that make for great inspiration, too."

"I missed most of the town on the way here. Sort of all flashed by while I was 'holy crap'-ing over the icebergs," Angela admitted, lips twitching wryly.

"Tomorrow's task: Island exploration."

"403," Angela told her in return. She then grinned and added a conspiratory, "And my roommate is hot. So it's totally worth dropping by sometime."

Angela seemed pretty cheerful about her deal here.

Savannah grinned. "Since you were so nice to tell me about your roommate, I should tell you that my roommate is my boyfriend and he's pretty hot in more than one way. He's pretty to look at, too. His name is Johnny Storm."

She laughed. "No. In fact, we just recently had a very bad two weeks, but things are better."
