Johnny thought it best not to comment where his mind went.

"Met any new students yet?"

Savannah nodded. "I've seen a few and talked to a couple. How about you?"

"Seen a lot; haven't done much mingling," he replied, taking hold of her hand.

She squeezed his hand, smiling up at him. She couldn't believe how god this felt after the last two weeks.

"I've been doing more watching than mingling," she said with a smile.

"Same as I," he told her, looking around again. "Not too many more of these for me."

She nodded. "At least two." She smiled a little, determined not to dwell on the fact that she'd be watching him leave next year -- not after the way the last two weeks had gone. "But there's no reason to think about that right now, love."
