Ronon came to a stop in front of Sheppard and crossed his arms. "You been here long?"

He wasn't fond of beating around the bush, no.

"Little over a year," John looked up at the rather imposing man with a tight-lipped smile. "I take it you're new?" And have limited social skills.

"Yup," Ronon clipped. "Thought we got rid of the replicators on this planet, too, but here you are."

"Uh, replicator?" John was confused as ever. "I'm John Sheppard, and you are..?"

Surmising that this guy was definitely capable of tearing him up, John thought if he spoke slowly and used fewer words he'd have a better chance of getting away in one piece.

Knocking John's plate away, Ronon reached out to grab John's collar, intent on hauling him up against a convenient tree.

"I'm the guy you're going to tell what you are or I swear they won't recognize your remains when I'm through," he snarled.

Struggling ineffectually against Ronon's strength, John cried out in surprise and pain at the tightness against his neck. "Woah! Take it easy! I don't have any clue what you're talking about!" His exclamation was quieter than intended.

"You're a little young to be John Sheppard," Ronon growled, hand fisted tightly in the front of John's shirt.

"I'm actually the perfect age to be me, th--oh," John rolled his eyes. "You talking about that other me who used to go here?" A year ago he'd be assaulted in a more pleasant hugging fashion before being told he was the wrong Sheppard. "He leave you and break your heart, too?"

Ronon was not amused, and showed it by lifting John higher off the ground.

"Excuse me," Fraser said, coming up upon the scene. "If you could please release Mr. Sheppard, I would be most appreciative."

Ronon glowered at the man in red. "This isn't Sheppard." His hands didn't loosen.

"He thinks I'm some alien thing," John managed, hoping Ronon wouldn't squish his vocal cords for speaking out of turn.

"No, he is John Sheppard," Fraser said sternly. "He is a student at this school and he has been for quite awhile. If you do not release him, you will be arrested and charged with assault."

Ronon dropped his grip on the impostor and stepped back, allowing him to fall freely to the ground. "Fine."

Falling to his knees, John pushed off the base of the tree and got to his feet. He rubbed at his neck and muttered, "I think someone needs to get the whole Fandom weirdness thing explained to them."

"Most likely," Fraser said and turned to Ronon. "You, do not come near Mr. Sheppard again until you understand this place. I mean it. If I see or hear you near him again, you will be arrested and incarcerated. Am I clear?"

Ronon sized up the security man before grunting his agreement and stalking off.

"Uh, thanks, sir," John said, grateful for Fraser's help and wondering what all of that had been about. "I'll try to stay out of his way."

"It's no problem," Fraser said. "Just be careful and try not to agitate him until he hears what this island is like."
