Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

Despite the fact that they were still in Antarctica, the weather for the picnic was beautiful. It was sunny, warm, and clear enough to see many of the icebergs circling the island from the school's location. If people were still cold, there was more warm food than usual out on the tables, and hot drinks were being kept well-stocked.

Along with the tables and chairs near the food, there was a table of nametags, and two signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and one listing rooms and roommates for the new students.

It was time for the picnic to begin!

Clingy people, supervillains, clingy supervillains. Yeah, there was a good deal that Warren was concerned about.

"At least I don't have to take a bus to get to classes."

"No, it's all very convenient," she said, nodding. "Um, do you know if you have a roommate?"

"Some guy called Lee," he replied with a small nod. "Room 315. Never had a roommate before. That'll be... different."

"That's right above me," she told him. "I know Lee, if it's the Lee I think. Good bloke. If you need anything, though, I'm in 214 -- not that I expect you to need anything," she added quickly, "but the offer comes with the position."

"Noted," Warren agreed. And he was making a mental note. Big sibling. Evey. Room 215. "Thanks."

The weird thing was, he was actually thankful for the offer.
