Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

Despite the fact that they were still in Antarctica, the weather for the picnic was beautiful. It was sunny, warm, and clear enough to see many of the icebergs circling the island from the school's location. If people were still cold, there was more warm food than usual out on the tables, and hot drinks were being kept well-stocked.

Along with the tables and chairs near the food, there was a table of nametags, and two signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and one listing rooms and roommates for the new students.

It was time for the picnic to begin!

Sokka shook Bumblebee's hand and shrugged. "Hey, I was just trying to be courteous, since you're my responsibility now and everything and YOU'RE A ROBOT!!!"

He coughed. "...So. I'm here to be your guide, and help you adjust and stuff. Have you been told about the weirdness around here, yet?"

"I appreciate the courtesy," he assured Sokka, somewhat amused. "I am Cybertronian. And no, I have not had any explanation of Fandom beside the website."

Sokka grinned. "Okay, well the first thing you need to know," he said, "is that this place is weird. Like, REALLY weird. Not even big yellow robot weird; this place is weirder than that. You're practically NORMAL around here."

Sokka shrugged. "Days when you wake up as an animal for no reason at all, gods of the underworld trying to take over, tiny giraffes falling from the sky and melting... Really, what would be REALLY weird would be if a couple of days went by without something abnormal happening."

"For the rest of the Earth, yes. For Fandom, no." Sokka grinned and gave his cyberbrother an enthusiastic thumbs-up. "Welcome to Fandom, where the improbable is VERY probable!"

Something in what Bumblebee just said finally registered. "...You're an ALIEN robot?!?!? AWESOME!!!!"

Bumblebee returned the thumbs-up with his other hand on his hip, optics bright with amusement. "I want to thank you for your generosity, the love, and the honesty that you gave to me~ I think I will like it here!"
