Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

Despite the fact that they were still in Antarctica, the weather for the picnic was beautiful. It was sunny, warm, and clear enough to see many of the icebergs circling the island from the school's location. If people were still cold, there was more warm food than usual out on the tables, and hot drinks were being kept well-stocked.

Along with the tables and chairs near the food, there was a table of nametags, and two signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and one listing rooms and roommates for the new students.

It was time for the picnic to begin!

"My utmost apologies, Princess." Edmund straightened. "I was not aware there was other royalty amongst the students, at least not with titles I would recognise. I am King Edmund of Narnia, Duke of Lantern Waste, Count of the Western March, and Knight of the Noble Order of the Table. I won't be spouting that off to everyone, but I feel it is only proper to do so in the presence of a royal lady. Just Edmund," he clarified. "Have you been in Fandom long?"

Cimorene's lips twitched into a small smile. "It will be a year in September. And I honestly prefer to be the Chief Cook and Librarian than a Princess. So when and where are you from?"

"Narnia. The dating doesn't match up with normal time here, as I understand it. Before that, elsewhere, but Narnia is where I call home. And yourself? I've been told the worlds here don't all match by way of history, but perhaps I have heard of your kingdom."

"I've found that no one has heard of it, and that includes people I've met in my world." Cimorene said with a smile. "So, as your school assigned big sibling, I'm supposed to help you out. Anything you think you need helping with?"
