Grissom sits in the front of the class - he looks exhausted, grumpy, and a little zoned out. He is wearing his sexy as hell, and you know it straw hat in an attempt to make himself feel better.

"Everyone please take a seat, and hand in your homework from last class. [ooc: links are fine] We will spend the rest of class discussing your results."


Assignment for Monday: Read Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes, as we will be having a discussion on Monday regarding the text, and sign up for the Body Farm trip if you'd like. We will have class after we return on Thursday.

"Well, how about I give you an insignificant F for the day, and you sit down and try not to disrupt class with your mooning? I hear one random declaration of love out of you during discussion and you can spend Saturday in detention writing Mrs. Cameron Mitchell and pink hearts in your notebook. Am I clear?"

For a moment he's taken aback, but then he laughs at Grissom. "She will make you pay for that."

"Not really scared of your teen girlfriend, Cameron, but try not the theaten the faculty anymore. Not the best move if you don't want to have detention renamed 'The Cameron Mitchell Variety Hour'."

Hathor walks into the classroom and up to the teacher. "We had hoped you would forgive our drugged and befuddled loyal minion servant," she says. "We have kept him very busy destroying Crichton's Care Bear pillows instead of working on his homework."

"Excuse me, miss, do I know you?"

Hathor looks at him consideringly. He would do. "We believe you have not yet met us," she says, walking up to him. "We are Hathor."

OOC: Hathor!Janet is walking up to within a few inches of you, if you let it through.

"We?" Grissom allows Hathor to approach him, and notices that she smells fantastic. He looks behind her and is confused by her use of the plural 'we'. Maybe she was royalty? His pulse begins to race a bit as she invades his personal space. "How may I help you, Hathor?"

"We wish you to excuse Cameron Mitchell from class for the day," says Hathor, reaching up to putt a hand on Grissom's chest. "We are in dire need of his presence." She tilts her head up and breathes a cloud of perfumed air into his mouth. "Would you do this and other such things for us?"

OOC: Oh, God, Janet's going to develop a reputation for kissing teachers if I keep this up. Which is what I'll do in the next post if you let it through.

Grissom sighs, enthralled. He feels a slight tingle in his chest, and practically purrs. "What kind of things would you like me to do for you?"

Hathor kisses him, cupping the back of his neck with her hand, then releases him and glances at Cameron. "You will not fail him today," she says. "Nor will you give our beloved minion friend detention. And we have heard that some of our former friends--" She glared at Crichton. "Have expressed displeasure with our behavior. We wish you to ignore them."

Grissom licks his lips.

Of course, sweet Goddess. Anything that you wish. If Cameron is your beloved, I shall protect him, and will ignore anyone who does not see your radiant beauty."

"We would prefer if you did not speak to Crichton," says Hathor. "He is unwilling to open his eyes to our true glory."

Hathor glances back at this woman. She searches through the host's memories. The host recalls meeting her once. "We do not believe your presence is either necessary or wanted," she says.

"Don't be silly - this is Hathor, the goddess. Do not be cross with her because of the things I have done to you. She has healed me, she can heal you too. It will be glorious."

"We are Hathor," says Hathor. "We are a Goddess. Do you not acknowledge our divinity?" Her voice is low and carries a warning in it.

"Do you wish me to deal with her, my Goddess?" Cameron asks, forgetting he'd most likely get his ass kicked if he tried.

*She turns. She glares. If he has any sense lurking underneath his ohmygoddess!gooiness, he will Back Off.*

"We shall leave," says Hathor, striding from the room.

OOC: Don't call me! I'll call you! But on an actual serious note, Grissom, we may need you to be one of Hathor's cannon fodder line of defense against the group coming to capture her later. I'll drop a post if that happens, okay?
