It was the start of another week, and that meant Sam was getting his library duties on, even if no one probably needed them.

Sam took a donut before Peter could get it away. "They just seem to mock me a lot. I think they're afraid I might step on them."

"I think they mock everybody," Peter said. He sipped his coffee. "Think of all the stuff they say about us."

"I could never tell if that was the squirrels or the people doing the broadcasting," Sam said.

"True," Peter admitted. "Either way, that's radio. Usually a little skewed. Except when you're reporting, of course."

"Of course. I am a complete source of truthfulness," Sam said, smirking.

"Like when you talk about how awesome I am." Not that Peter was a fan of Sam's radio reports or anything.

"Exactly. That's the truth. And I've had to balance some people out in the past."

"Which is why you are an awesome best friend," Peter said. "It evens out."

Sam blushed lightly, looking pleased. "Thanks. I try."

"You succeed," Peter told him with a smile.
