Library [06/02]

When Sam woke up and discovered that all of his underwear was missing, his immediate thought was to wonder how Dean had managed to break in while he and Dawn were sleeping. But all thoughts of pranking went away when he showed up at the library and found every empty space of the desk being used for underwear storage.

The worst part was that none of it was his underwear, and that meant he was still feeling very, very uncomfortable in his jeans. His discomfort only grew when he started pulling the underwear out and discovered just what some people felt the need to wear under their clothes.

After filling a basket and marking it "Claim Your Underwear, Please" he went ahead and opened the library.

"Not unless you've taken to wearing pink thongs," Dean replied, ignoring the second question.

"Only when the world spins completely backwards," Sam said, pausing for a moment. "There's a pile of what I found here if you want to look for anything that's yours. I was trying not to look at anything too closely to know for sure."

Dean eyed the basket. "Yeah, maybe later," he said. He shrugged. "Not the first time I've gone commando."

"I don't know how you do it," Sam said, shifting a little in place. "It's just uncomfortable in every possible way."

"Well you gotta stop fiddling with it for one."

"I'm not," Sam insisted badly. "I just...I'm trying to find a way to be comfortable."

"Y'know, it's not like people were born with underwear on," Dean pointed out. "When it comes down to it, wearing underwear is downright unnatural."

"People aren't born wearing clothes at all, but that's not unnatural," Sam pointed out.

"I don't know, maybe it is," Dean said, trying to hide a grin.

Sam glanced at Dean. "You wish it was," he said.

"Would give us a whole lot more to look at in crowds," Dean agreed with a smirk.

"Especially when we travel to the south, where people don't believe in dieting," Sam replied.

"Okay, point. But around here..."

Sam shot Dean another look. "Deadpool. Without clothes."

Dean considered. "I could handle that considering that would also mean such things as Vala and Lulu and Faith without clothes. To name a few off the top of my head."

Sam could think of a few more people, but he wasn't going to say them out loud. "I still like most people better with clothes on," he said.

Dean snickered. "You know there was a time we couldn't keep you in clothes."

"I was a baby," Sam insisted. "I didn't know any better."

"Dude, you were like three," Dean said with a laugh. "That's not much younger than I was when I started looking after you."

"It was a phase," Sam said. "Maybe I just didn't like my hand-me-downs, I don't know."

"We could've dressed you in baby coutre and you still would've had it off and running down the sidewalk in your altogether," Dean told him, then chuckled again. "Guess you streaking for class wasn't that far of a stretch after all."

Sam sighed. "I did that for a grade. You'll notice that I didn't streak in the months before, and I haven't streaked since."

"Obviously you're saving it up for a special occasion," Dean said, spreading his hands and nodding knowingly. "My graduation I bet."

"In your dreams," Sam said. "If you want nudity at your graduation, you're going to have to do it yourself."

"Actually in my dreams, all the hot girls would be naked, not my brother."
