Galactic Vacationing - Danger Shop, Wednesday Afternoon

The Danger Shop, for anyone who entered it, looked rather like a London street at Christmas time. There were plenty of human shoppers milling about, lights and signs telling everyone about great last-minute sales and a group of musicians dressed like Santa with rosy-cheeked masks were lined up playing Christmas carols for passers by. It was a clear night, cold but not unreasonably so, and sadly no snow in sight. The teacher didn't appear to be in the vicinity either.

The pleasant scene was broken by the sound of plate glass smashing and blank-faced mannequins stepping out from shop windows. Down the street, a woman screamed, drawing a mannequin's attention. It raised its arm and the woman ducked out of the way just in time to miss a gunshot coming from where the mannequin's hand should have been.

A man in a blue suit, a tan trench coat and red sneakers appeared out of the panicking crowd, stopping in front of the students. His face reflected the urgency of the situation. "Run!"

[OOC: But look both ways before crossing the road and wait for OCD go for it. OCD is up!

ETA: Off to catch a flight. Hopefully will be back tonight to answer pings.]

"Klingons do not run from a fight," Worf said stubbornly.

Worf huffed.

But retreated.

Oh hell no. Not in her city. Lightning began to crackle around Jenny's hands and face. "Run? Are you serious??"

Jenny was hard to kill. "Do they have electricity?" she snapped. Jenny knew what she thought, but that could be the Danger Shop messing with her senses.

Marco had a ting against mannequins to begin with. He was more than happy to run in the opposite direction. And that was totally not a shriek.

Gwen wasn't so much with the running. Mostly because her first instinct was to try and keep the holographic crowd from panicking. Well, panicking more.

Oh, this was more fun. Things he could explode.

People might want to duck flying shards of plastic.

Naomi was running since there wasn't much that she could do to help in a situation like this.

Ella ran as fast as she could, and tried very hard not to trip.

[OOC: Very very SP until 4-ish.]

When someone says run like that, you run. While you ask stupid question. "What is going on here?" Toby shouted, moving quickly.

Toby didn't understand why someone would want to shoot at him. "Is it because of your suit?" Maybe the mannequins were like the fashion police.

...Liir didn't have to hear that twice. Getting the hell out of where the trouble was had been his solution to 90% of the things they'd dealt with in Fandom Invasions.

He straddled the broom and kicked off, heading up and away.

If the frakking teacher was running, he was too. Lee took off at a run, shooting glances over his shoulder all the while.

"Kuso!" Dōjima didn't argue, she took off in the opposite direction of all the shooting.

Cal was one of those types of people who, when he heard something like a shout of RUN!, he didn't so much as run as stop, look around, and try to see what exactly was going on. He rode his bike in front of a tank during a race riot, for crying out loud, because he wanted to see his dad.

He was also fairly young then, so it took a moment to process exactly what was going on before he very much decided perhaps running would be a fairly capital idea at the moment.

Alec wasn't interested in getting shot, and this wasn't his city - running sounded fine until there was something else to do, at least.

Teyla was caught between holding her ground, and following the order. After a few moments of hesitation, she took off with everyone else.

Kevin took off at a sprint, glad he was wearing comfortable jeans and sneakers because he knew his ass looked really good in these jeans when he ran.

Seregil was very much a proponent of running away and living to find out what he needed to defeat whatever he was running from later.

He ran.

[identity profile] mrodneymckay.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Really not needing to be told twice, Rodney took off running at the first sign of trouble. He had no idea where he was going other than away. Of course, he didn't get very far before he was clutching his side and looking for a good place to hide.

[identity profile] ambassadorinara.livejournal.com 2008-05-15 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Inara took off at a run, but since she was unfamiliar with London, she had no idea where she was going and probably looked it.
