So having fun freaking the newbies?" Dean asked sidling up to her.

"I haven't had the chance to talk to too many yet. I've watched a couple flail from afar though," she said. She had heard about Alec from Isabel and wondered if Dean knew yet.

"Oh, and I should warn you... if you see me walking around without a shirt? It's not me. Alec's back."

"I heard already," Meg said, smiling a little. "Isabel told me. So don't worry, I haven't been groping your doppelganger by accident."

"Not that he wouldn't appreciate it if you did, I'm sure," Dean said with a fond smile.

"Yeah, I get the feeling he wouldn't mind," Meg said. "But still, it'd be a weird way to meet somebody."

"True," Dean agreed. "Memorable but weird. But I'll introduce the two of you later in the more conventional way."

"Great," she said, smiling. "Can't wait to meet him."

"I can't wait for him to meet you either," Dean said. "I've been telling him how hot you are."

"He's met Jo, right?" she asked. "Because that's pretty much all the visual aid you need when it comes to describing me."

"He's met Jo," Dean confirmed. "But you're the sweeter secretly wicked version."

"I gotta admit, that's a pretty accurate description," she said.

"I'm going to be very surprised if you two don't get along."

"I'd be surprised too," she said. "Everybody speaks pretty highly of him."

It was obvious she had never gotten Sam's opinion of Alec.

"Just don't talk to Sammy about him then," Dean said with a smile. "They... don't exactly see eye to eye."

"Oh, one bad review. Doesn't mean anything," she joked. She was curious as to what Sam's problem with Alec was.

"Yeah, will Sammy's not exactly unbiased. I think it's part some kind of weird jealousy -- Sammy was used to being the only guy close to me before we came here -- and partly that Alec decided that making fun of him was a really cool pastime," Dean explained. "What is fine coming from a big brother is fighting words from a stranger."

"Yeah, I totally get that," she said, nodding. "I'm fine with Lizzie teasing me but anybody else risks a danger of me glaring at them."

"Family always gets to do stuff no one else can," Dean agreed. "Alec didn't have one so he didn't know the rules at first. And then they decided they just hated each other."

Meg gave him a sympathetic look. "Well, at least they're not trying to kill each other?"

"Now."
