Oh look, there were tables and chairs over here too, away from all the informational stuff. Enjoy the food!

Dinah sniffed again. Not an animal she recognized. She stepped closer, tentatively, braced in case the other animal made a sudden start.

Alice glanced over at the ... well. She'd never seen a creature quite like that before. And moved a little closer to Dinah just in case it was a Cat-Eating Whatever-It-Was.

For such a large creature, Gulliver was very good at flattening himself out to look non-threatening, and he wiggled his rear slightly. Play? Play? Pleeeeeeease play?

Dinah's tail flickered, and she crouched closer to the ground, tensing for a spring.

"Dinah," Alice said, a note of warning in her voice. That thing might also be a Cat-Treat Whatever-It-Was. Eating someone else's pet was not a good way to make a first impression.

Anemone had been watching the animals with a bemused smile, and glanced up. "Don't worry, he's a tame Gulliver, and the kitty couldn't hurt him even if it tried. He's too big to break."

Gulliver huffed indignantly at Anemone before rolling onto his back.

"He's also a big dork."

"I've never seen a Gulliver before," Alice said, looking over him with amusement. "Is he yours, then? As much as pets belong to anybody. I think Dinah is mostly her own."

Dinah was twitching her own rear, now, ready ... ready ... POUNCE!

"I don't think there are any other Gullivers, no one seems to have ever seen anything like him," Anemone replied, sighing as the panduppy 'fled' from the cat.

The fleeing might work better if he actually tried to get away.

"He's his own Gulliver, but I'm rather sure I'm his Person. Isn't that always the way it works?"

"It does seem that way," Alice agreed, still watching the cat-and-Gulliver game intently. "She's decided I'm hers, it would be quite rude to disagree, after everything. How did you find your Gulliver?"

"I like think he found me," Anemone mused, drifting over to sit by the other girl. "I don't remember a time before Gulliver, he was simply there the first time I woke up."

Alice smiled fondly at that. "When I woke up - the second time, I mean, in the asylum - she was there, nestled against me, like I was home in my own bed. She'd been mine before. She must have found me again, somehow."

She gave the other girl a quick glance. "We must be lucky, to have been chosen like this."
