Friday had been convinced by Seely pointing Lois out that shirtless Fridays (the day, not the boy) were the best thing ever. That would be why he wasn't wearing his shirt as he approached the shirtless girl. He was very, very, VERY careful to look her in the eye. "Shirtless Fridays got to you too?"

Lois grinned. She wouldn't have minded it if he stared. She was checking him out blatantly. "It's a holiday I can totally get behind."

Friday was perhaps blushing a little. "Me too. I was easily convinced. I'm Friday. Shirtless Friday, it seems."

"I'm Lois," she said, holding out her hand. "You know I really am going to be calling you Shirtless Friday from now on, right?"

"See, that's a trick question. I want to say no to impress you, but then you might give the order in the middle of a blizzard or, you know, an exam or something and that puts me in an awkward position."

"You'll have to trust me about that too I guess," she said, smiling sweetly. It was kind of hard to act sweet and innocent when your top was off.

Friday laughed. "That's a lot of trust. But I can't exactly say no or I'd insult you and that's the last thing I want to do. There's only one way to deal with this."

"I'll trust you for now and you can call me Shirtless Friday, but to give me peace of mind that I'm trusting someone nice, I'm afraid I'm going to have to get to know you better. That's all that can be done, I'm sorry."
