"Very well," Worf said looking slightly mollified. "I am Worf. And you said your name was 'Friday'? I have not met anyone named for a day in the week."

"It's a family tradition," Friday replied, rolling his eyes slightly at the tradition. "My sister is Tuesday, Mum is Thursday, Gran is Wednesday. I think they think it's funny. So Wharf like where you tie a boat?"

"No," Worf said simply. "It was the name of my grandfather and has nothing to do with boats. What happens when your family runs outs of days to name people of?"

"Well, Tuesday was also my great-grandmother, so I think they recycle them and claim it's tradition. I'm the first Friday though. I think. It's a weird family tradition. It's not even normal where I'm from. Where, uh, are you from, Worf?" Way to change the subject smoothly there, Friday.

"Qo'noS," Worf replied. "It is the homeworld of my race. However I was raised by humans."

He was meeting an actual alien. This was the best decision ever. "Oh, that's cool. Well, actually, that must've been weird for you, being the only," he faltered for the word, "you in the family."

"It had its challenges," Worf said simply. "However my adopted family life was suitable."

"Now you've got new challenges. I'd put being here as a challenge. Lots of," he paused, trying to think of the right phrasing, "very interesting people."

"That's one way of putting it," Worf said stiffly. "I'm beginning to think that my presence here was arranged under false pretenses."

He then adjusted his stance so he was standing even more at attention. "However I am Klingon. I will persevere."
