That didn't really matter to Cassandra, so she shrugged. "Well then, you'll be getting a lot better, huh?"

What else could she say? She'd never be good enough for her Father.

Another shrug, "Well, you already move pretty well, so you must have quite a bit of training."

"W-we start young," she said, "a-and I've been on active duty for nearly two years."

Cassandra nodded, "Good. We should spar sometime."

Then she grinned, "And here's the food!" Because that was clearly more important than talk about fighting skills.

"I--" she started to say something, a denial most likely, when the rest of what Cassandra said caught up to her. "Yes," Hinata agreed, "there's quite a bit of food here."

Apparently that was a sign of encouragement because Cassandra shoved a plate into Hinata's hands and started loading it down. "Mmm... cheesecake! And these brownies! And some cookies! Oh! Lemon squares!"

Hinata stared at the plate, eyes wide as Cassandra piled things on it. "All desserts?"

Cassandra paused and blinked. "Um... did you want something else?" She just sort of assumed that everyone loved sugar!

"Ah, no," Hinata considered her options, "I-I don't mind."

Her Father would though. But he wouldn't know.

With that affirmation Cassandra returned to loading up the sugar, "If you're sure." She stopped long enough to grin over at Hinata, "I never had desserts growing up, so I'm sort of addicted to them now."

"I-I'm not supposed to," she admitted, staring at the plate, "because it's not good for our training. But one day won't hurt, right?"
