The sun was shining over the front lawn of the school (except for the part of the bleachers covered by an awning, in case anyone with sun issues had shown up), and the temperature had thankfully turned out to be perfect for the occasion. There was a stage placed prominently on the lawn, set up with a podium and a number of heavy metal chairs for the administration and guests. In front of the stage were platforms with more of the metal chairs; they'd been painted blue and gold, and were sitting empty and waiting for the arrival of the class of 2008. There were bleachers on each side of the platforms, for students, family, friends, alumni, and residents of the town who wanted to come and watch.

Alas, it was time for another class to graduate.

As if Tori was going to miss this. She found a seat, camera at the ready. Like she wasn't going to take pictures, please.

"Tori!"

"Gwynn!" Why yes, that would be a huge, happy grin appearing on Tori's face upon seeing her.

And that would be a happy woodsgirl hugging her friend.

And of course, Tori hugged her back. "How are you?"

"I'm well. How are you?"

"I'm great," Tori smiled. "I happy to be back here, that's for sure."

"I'm very glad you're back. Oh! I may be staying in California for some time this summer. Conner invited me."

"Oh, that's great!" Tori beamed. "I have to say, it's a good place to spend the summer," she chuckled. "Though, I might be a little biased," she admitted, with a wink.

Storm Shadow was making the rounds of people he recognized from the New Jersey incident. He felt he owed it to Billy for deceiving him.

"I understand you were with William in New Jersey. I wanted to thank you."

Tori hadn't expected that but managed a slight nod and a small smile. "It was nothing, really. I was happy to help out."

"William tells me that many of his friends are also Ninja, are you one of them?"

"I am a ninja, yes," Tori nodded, smiling lightly. "I doubt many people have heard of it, but I'm a wind ninja, from the Wind Ninja Academy in Blue Bay Harbor."

"It does not ring a bell." Storm Shadow admitted. "But due to the alternate dimension thing, that does not surprise me."
