fandomhigh | Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2008, Saturday Afternoon (Part I)

The sun was shining over the front lawn of the school (except for the part of the bleachers covered by an awning, in case anyone with sun issues had shown up), and the temperature had thankfully turned out to be perfect for the occasion. There was a stage placed prominently on the lawn, set up with a podium and a number of heavy metal chairs for the administration and guests. In front of the stage were platforms with more of the metal chairs; they'd been painted blue and gold, and were sitting empty and waiting for the arrival of the class of 2008. There were bleachers on each side of the platforms, for students, family, friends, alumni, and residents of the town who wanted to come and watch.

Alas, it was time for another class to graduate.

Anders looked absolutely stunned by the time he came up to get his diploma -- and yes, he'd given up on the crooked mortarboard by now, choosing to tell himself it gave him something approaching a rakish air -- but he was still grinning fit to light up a half dozen ballparks.

Three years. Three years, and he'd survived.

Wow.

"GO DAISY!" Zero called from the stands. "YOU DID IT! WOOOOOOOO!"

It wasn't like the girl had a demure bone in her body, after all.

Like Isabel was going to be restrained and dignified.

"YAY ANDERS!!!!!"

Yeah, okay, Prue clapped for Anders. The kid survived high school. That was impressive considering he was kind of a ditz.

Veronica applauded for Anders, despite the fact that he still mostly annoyed her.

Phoebe was applauding and bouncing.

"Alright, ANDERS!!!"

Savannah did a wolf whistle when he got his diploma.

"Go Big Sib!"

Johnny cheered for Anders. "Way to go, dude!"

Annette clapped loudly for Anders, cheering him on.

"ANDERS WOOOOOOOO!"

Angela had a set of lungs on her, yes.

Yes, she was applauding for Anders.

Tori applauded loudly for Anders.

"Way to go, Anders!"

Chloe couldn't resist catcalling at Anders as he got his diploma. He deserved it.

Dean clapped and cheered him on.

Piper was applauding and cheering for Anders. Seriously.

When Anders crossed the stage, Fraser smiled and clapped proudly.

Mac was grinning and cheering him on from her place in the crowd.

Summer was also cheering for Anders.

From somewhere in Willow's direction there was a shout of "WAY TO GO COOKING STUDY BUDDY!"

"GO ROOMIE-IN-LAW!"

"Daisy Daisy Daisy DAISY!" Parker chanted, holding up a victory fist as she captured that grin to last a hundred years. "WOOOO!"

Ferris let out a whistle and applauded along with the crowd.

Demyx was cheering just as loud as everyone else, throwing a 'rock on!' hand gesture in with it.

Bel unfolded a large piece of white posterboard that read "GO ANDERS!" and cheered. What, he was a dork sometimes.
