Sam was a little wary as he went to open the library, wondering if there would be anything strange waiting inside for him like last week. Luckily, there was nothing in the library but the books. Ah, books.

"I don't get a lot of chances to play video games," Sam said, shrugging. "I'm not a total nerd 24/7, you know."

"More like 23/7?" Peter replied.

"More like 18/7. I do have to sleep sometimes."

"How much of that gets devoted to sleeping?" Peter asked, giving him a suspicious look.

"...probably the six hours I'm not being a nerd," Sam admitted.

Peter made a show of tsking and shaking his head. "It's like I'm not rubbing off on you at all."

"Are you trying to?" Sam asked.

"At least an influence," Peter said.

"Video gaming together would help," Sam said with a nod. "If you want to."

"Sure, if you're up for it," Peter said. "Any preference for type of game?"

"Whatever type of game will allow me to beat you as easily as possible would be good," Sam said.

"So no game in existance then," Peter replied.

"More like plenty of games in existance," Sam said. "You can't use any of your powers while we're playing. That's cheating."

"My innate amazingness is not a power," Peter said.

"And what makes you think my amazingness is not as amazing, or more amazing than yours?" Sam asked.

"I've met you?" Peter replied.

Sam reached over and swatted Peter on the arm. "We'll see about that. I think your assumption is far from correct."

Peter laughed, rubbing his arm good-naturedly. "Nice that you're busting out the SAT words."

"It's an after-effect of the studying."

"Just don't try to write on me with a #2 pencil," Peter said. "So when are you done for good? Wednesday?"

Sam nodded. "Yeah, I have two finals tomorrow and two on Wednesday. Are you done then too? After Driver's Ed?"

"Okay now we have to celebrate," Peter said. "We're done with finals on the same day. It's the law."

"Oh, well, if it's a law," Sam said, laughing. "How do you want to celebrate?"

"Junk food and crappy television?" Peter suggested. "We could take over a common room."

"I like the sound of that," Sam said. "It's a good, solid plan."
