Sam was a little wary as he went to open the library, wondering if there would be anything strange waiting inside for him like last week. Luckily, there was nothing in the library but the books. Ah, books.

"Knowing our teacher, it might just be something like that," Sam said, looking nervous at the prospect.

"Relax," Dean told him. "Even if it was that, I'm sure you'll do fine. You've got good hand/eye coordination."

"Or I'll miss the jar completely. Or burn something and set the oven on fire. Or drive into a tree. And then I'll have to streak again."

"If you miss the jar, then maybe everyone's innocent, if you set the oven on fire, you're attempting a new flambe, and just pretend you're driving the impala. Then you won't drive into a tree because you know what I'd do for you," Dean teased.

"You're far too logical for this week," Sam said. "And I can't pretend I'm driving the Impala because unlike the cars in Driver's Ed, I can actually fit into the Impala."

"You should've thought of that before you decided to grow into a sasquatch," Dean told him.

"Aw, someone's just bitter because they're short," Sam said, reaching over to try to pat Dean on the head.

Dean ducked back and blocked Sammy's hand. "Dude, I'm not your puppy. Also? Not short."

"You're shorter than me," Sam pointed out. "And the fortuneteller that was in town yesterday said I'm going to have a cat in the future. Maybe she meant you, since you're the cat person."

"Hey, I'm not the one with my stunning good looks who has cat DNA," Dean pointed out.

"You know, it's funny you should point that out," Sam said.

Dean stared at him. "Dude, at this point, I'm pretty sure it's a sign of either possession or the apocalypse if you started petting Alec."

"Well, I might have to," Sam said, somehow managing a straight and sincere face. "The fortuneteller said we're going to get married."

Dean stared. "And you bought that load of hooey?"

Sam gave Dean an endearing look for a few moments before cracking up. "Dude, of course not! That's a special kind of hooey that's especially nuts."

"Well good. For a second there I thought I was going to have to deprogram you or call Missouri in or something." He paused. "Though hey, if you want to use that line on Alec when he comes back..."

"How much do you think that would scare him?" Sam asked, grinning at the thought.

"It might just get him to stop hitting on doubles of versions of you," Dean said, grinning back.

"If it'll do that, I'm sold," Sam said. "Count me in."
