Driver'd Ed [Wednesday, Period Four]

Today the Danger Shop was set up to look like a collection of go-kart tracks, albeit ones with hazard areas that most go-kart tracks didn't have.

After the class had arrived, Bond began. "Given that your final will be next week, today will be a revision class. If you have questions about anything we've covered so far now is the time to ask them. Otherwise, practice your driving using the provided vehicles in whatever manner you feel will best help you prepare."

What little of it is.

Race, take things easy, go wild! Courses are moddable within reason.

One-on-one, or in groups.

Go-karts, go-karts! Turtle was all revved up and ready to go, looking particularly for a certain genetic DNA-based shapeshifter whose butt she needed to totally cream all over the curbs, although she certainly wouldn't be opposed to kicking anyone else's butt, too.

Jack was totally available for precision racing driving, should someone want to compete with someone with as much natural ability as the young Burton.

For those who'd like to take things easier.

Go-karts fell into that nice category of "vehicles Sam could fit into," so he went straight for one. His practicing consisted mostly of speeding and then stopping as quickly as possible, like he was avoiding running someone over.

Amber was definitely all for taking things easier. It was just the kind of mood she was in today. That and if she accidentally hurt herself or someone else, well, that would be bad.

She did, however, go as fast as she possibly could without scaring herself half to death.

Liz was happy to take things easier as she had no desire to race right then.

Dawn climbed into her kart and drove reasonably well, except for a slight tendency to drift to the right on outside turns of the track and a complete inability to parallel park.

Robin was driving very, very slowly and carefully. Just in case there was someone on the track ahead of him.
