Applied Inventiontronics, Period 4 - Week 13

Glitch was at the front of class, as always.

Today, though, there would be an actual lecture, and he was ready with his notes.

"Now, I know most of you are probably already finished with your inventions," he started. He also really hoped that they were. "Today, though, we're going to talk about what to do if something happens and, say, a possessed princess tries to take your invention and re-work it so that it goes from being something that would help to something that would come pretty close to ending the world."

He stopped to take a breath before going on.

"So, that's why today you'll be making plans to destroy all the designs you've done so far. Not that you have to if you still need them or anything. It's all really just a precautionary measure. And don't worry about anyone trying to go straight to the source," he said, with a little embarrassed gesture to his zipper. "I don't think anyone is going to try digging around in anyone else's noggin here." He frowned a bit then. "I hope."

For a second, Glitch considered their options, synapses flashing and firing away as they usually did. Then he thought to check his notes. "Oh, right. Uhm, any option you can think of is fine so long as you can manage it without hurting anyone else nearby. Or far away. Or just anyone in general."

[ooc: Sorry so late, and the OCD is up!]

Bridge is here, and while he's not quite back to his normal levels of bounciness, he's looking and feeling much less like death warmed over. It's an improvement from the weekend, at least.

Liir's listening, especially considering the discussions he'd had with Ino and Professor Ambrose about the possible uses of his device.

If A.J. looked a little boggled as he listened to Glitch, it might have been because he was really having difficulty trying to think of how someone could use an automatic book-page turner for pure evil. And he liked to think himself a pretty creative guy over here...

Jaina listened, and while she hadn't expected to cover this in class, she thought it was a good point.

She doubted the possessed princess thing applied, though.

Finally, some destruction! Sokka rubbed his hands together gleefully.

Doom was distracted today. Not that you could necessarily tell that what with the facemask. But he was.

Willow had a big-eyed stare of eepyness. She hugged her notes to her chest, looking like she was not planning on letting go.

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2008-04-07 01:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that sort of thing? Happens all the time. Which is why Bridge's plan consists of two options:

* Fight the invention-turned-evil-monster with a giant robot.
* Fight the robot/monster who stole my invention and turned it to evil purposes with a giant robot.

There. Done.

Burn notes.
Smash it with a hammer.

...it was rather simple, really.

Andrew knew the basics of opening up a portal to a hell dimension. If someone wanted to follow his notes there, more power to them.

A.J. considered the unlikely event of an evil mind getting a hold of his automatic book-page turner and using it for evil.

Recycle original sketchbooks to eradicate evidence.
Dismantle the thing that makes the invention works, meld it down a bit, form it into something else and cover it with paint. This will make it non-functional art.
This will, however, probably make it more dangerous than its original intent, as you could probably hit someone in the head with it, but, whatever It will look cool.
Recycle these notes, too, so no one knows of the true nature of the cool looking art.

Sokka scribbled excitedly on a piece of paper. Most of his 'plan' was more or less illegible, but anyone looking over his shoulder should be able to pick out the words "napalm", "C4", and "BOOM".

Doom's plan was simple.

*INVENT ATOMIZATION RAY.
*INSTALL ATOMIZATION RAY IN GAUNTLET.
*ATOMIZE NOTES AND PROTOTYPES.

But then he gave me cute little blobby aliens, so I forgave him.
