Library [Sunday, April 6]

It was Sunday and that meant Lee was propped up behind the library desk, doing absolutely nothing important. He'd kept mostly to himself this week because the mun was playing catch up and unpacking so it felt good to be out of his room.

The library was open.

As he pulled back, a small sound of disagreement with the action escaped Adah, her eyes still lightly lidded as she tried to follow him. She stopped just short, though, and grinned. "I hadn't been thinking of it, no," she said, her fingers clinging to the fabric a little more, "but, I have to admit, I think that's one of the better ideas you've had."

Adah's lips pressed together against themselves at first when he went to kiss her, as if stubbornly making the attempt to not let him play this game so well, but who was she kidding? It was a brief attempt, quickly aborted, so her strategy changed, enjoying the kissing until she needed to pull back for for a breath. "You're the one said you were fine with being distracted from work," she muttered, quickly, breathlessly, and then caught another kiss, fingers collecting more fabric to start pulling the hem of the shirt up a little bit. "Besides," pull away again, kiss again, then back, with a smirk, "it's not nudity, just shirtlessness, and that wouldn't be anything new for you."

Adah bit a corner of her lip against a grin, taking advantage of the wriggling to subtly pull up a bit more shirt. "I imagine I'm probably more of an expert than most," she commented. "I'll admit to being quite the enthusiast, at any rate."

"Remind me again," Adah prompted, with another light pull of the Eel's shift, her finger starting to curl around the increased collected fabric so that the tips could take advantage of some of the progress of flesh, "why this is an issue? Are you afraid the books might catch on?"

"Well, that certainly isn't going to dissuade me," Adah said with a ghost of a smile, leaning up to kiss the Eel again as she mead a bit more clearance with the shirt. Bothering the Librarian and the Eel shirtless and kissing her. She couldn't say no to such a nice combination of some of her favorite things; it would be impossible.

She pulled away again, this time trying to do more than just creep the shirt up. Her impatience was starting to get the better of her.

Adah grinned a bit shamelessly at her progress, and mused, "I wonder if I should keep this one, too. It would only be fair; payment for not visiting Wednesday. Lucky for you, though, I don't think I'd have much use to for two of your shirts."

Not that she'd intended to suggest that she had much use for even just one, of course.

"You're not cold, are you?" she asked when she noted him rubbing his arms.

"I see," Adah said, and she meant in in more ways than one, because his shirtless arm fidgeting gave her a chance to just hang back enjoy the sight visually before making the attempt to slide back in close to him and enjoy it physically.

"As well as I can, anyway," Adah said, settling back in against the Eel, hand slipping back to where it was against the small of his back, fingers curling lightly there since there wasn't fabric to hold onto. Not that she was complaining, of course. It was difficult to complain and kiss simultaneously, after all, and she'd much rather kiss him again.

"Could be a lot worse," Adah pointed out in a murmur, not wanting to draw too far away from kissing him for the sake of words. And he, of all people, should know that the worse she referred to would not be out of the question.

"Or me losing my shirt," Adah commented, quietly, as most of her attention went to closing her eyes and appreciating the departure of the Eel's lips to her forehead, her cheek. "Or losing a lot more."

There were, after all, whole sections of this place that, judging by the dust, were never, ever inhabited.

"Mmm..." Adah, with a small sound before an intake of breath, kept her eyes lightly shut as her head tilted back a little to be accommodating to the Eel's progress. "If you keep this up," she added, "it'll be a lot more than just a hint."

"Depends on your definition of 'private enough,'" Adah answered. "But I happen to know that there's an nook down that way and to the right that's entirely devoted to ancient Laplandian epic poetry that I know for a fact no one ever goes to except for me, because I like putting them in other places."

She smirked. "I've just been itching for someone to try to locate some Faust and see what they think when they get the Ballad of Bjorn Bjorkenstaalk and his Fifty Reindeer instead."

"It has been rather quiet around here," Adah added lightly.
