Today the desks in Anakin's classroom had been pushed along the walls and replaced with cushy pillows and blankets.

"Today we talk about sloth," Anakin said, holding himself even more carefully and clearly uncomfortable with the very idea of relaxing. The students were certainly not expected to be held to the same standard.

"Originally, sloth was described as 'an uneasiness of the mind'," Anakin continued. "Apathy. Melancholy. Joylessness. And importantly, the decision not to do anything about it."

He shrugged. "The modern view understands that the mind is slightly more complicated than that and sometimes it is impossible to will yourself not to be sad. Instead, this sin focuses on the failure to utilize your talents and gifts."

He made eye contact with each student. "In a place filled with as many talented people as this one, I can view it as almost criminal to not live up to the potential each of you has. Today, pair up and talk about what your plans for the summer are, and how what you will be doing will be helping you in what you might think of as your greater destiny."

He waved at the blankets. "Or embrace your inner sloth and take a nap. Being tiny this weekend can be tiring."

"Think we could have used those 'be quiet' signs from this weekend?" asked Hoshi with a smirk.

Lana smiled at her. "Couldn't hurt!"

"I ended up making drawings of everything I did over the weekend before I went to bed Sunday night," said Hoshi. "I'm sort of glad I did, because I wouldn't have believed it all when I woke up the next morning."

"It's not the first time I've woken up little," Lana said with a smile. "It's... nice to be little and have so few things to worry about."

"It was a lot of fun," agreed Hoshi. "So, do you know what you're going to be doing this summer?"

Lana shook her head. "I... god. I don't know what I'm doing at all. I've actually been wondering if it's possible for me to, well, to go back to where the angel statues sent me and pick up the life I had there. I think maybe I made the wrong decision in coming back."

Hoshi was no stranger to living in the past. "Where did they send you?" she asked.

"1930 New York City," Lana said and looked a little wistful. "I was happy there."

"Do you think it's possible to go back there?" asked Hoshi. She made a mental note to write to Daniels, her guardian, and ask how this time travel thing worked.

"I have a friend who is a witch and she might be able to send me back."

If she was able to convince Phoebe she needed to go.

"Good luck with that," said Hoshi. Lana looked a little sad and Hoshi hoped that everything would work out for her.

"I have no idea what I'll be doing this summer," she went on. "Things didn't go so well when I went home over winter break."

"Really?" Lana said "What happened?"

"My uncle got mixed up in some group of weirdos, he got my mom involved, and my mom and dad keep fighting about it," said Hoshi. "I ended up bailing on them early and coming back before New Year's."

Lana winced. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that."

"Staying here over the summer wouldn't be so bad," said Hoshi. "I might do that."

"Well, I'm graduating," Lana said. "I guess if I end up not going back I'd probably stay here through the summer - until my college term starts. It's not like I have a home or a family to go back to."

"What happened to your horse?" asked Hoshi, out of curiosity? "You seemed pretty fond of him."

"Donatello," Lana said with a soft smile. "He's staying on the Kent's farm. I know he's being well taken care of."

"Whatever you decide to do, I hope it makes you happy," said Hoshi.

"Thanks, Hoshi," Lana said with a smile. "That really means a lot."
