Mac was in the library unusually early, ready to do a bit of research.

She's been hiding out in her room pretty much all week. Creepy angels? Definitely to be avoided.

Frustrated by his complete lack of anything to show for yesterday's research -- after Wednesday went so well, too -- Sokka turned to the computers and poked around on the internet. Searching for "creepy angel statues that kidnap people into the past" didn't help much -- horror movies, horror movies, anime, Wendy the Werewolf Stalker, and lots and lots and LOTS of Mister What. All FICTION. Nothing USEFUL.

In frustration, he pounded on the keyboard randomly. "@[=g3,8d]\&fbb=-q]/hk%fg" His finger hovered over the Delete key, so he could erase that and start over, but then he sighed and closed the window. Someone ELSE could harness the awesome power of the internet. HE was going to try the books again.

Mac apparently has a radar for computer abuse. She restrained herself from bringing that up under the circumstances, however.

"No luck, huh?" she said, making her way over with another thermos of coffee.

Sokka shrugged. "Nah. I'm just not used to the whole internet thing. It looks awesome, though -- I'll try it out sometime when it's not as urgent."

Anemone was back, again, determined to find something useful. She didn't intend to stop looking, just because she had already found one clue. Where there was one, there had to be more.

So she was curled up with a thermos of tea and the stack of books she and A.J. had worked on yesterday, looking for more strange disappearances that matched their current problem.
