The Art of Cool: Class 9, Period 2 (Friday, March 14)

Well then! Were they all here? No, they were not! Many of them weren't! A lot of them were sucked into some weird time vortex of the past, and did that sound cool?

No! It wasn't! Write that down, children, because that was today's first lesson, and a very important one: temporal vortexes were not cool. They were the epitome of uncool!

Something else that was horribly uncool: angel statues! Ugly, tacky, hideous ones! Why would anyone look at them? Why would anyone go near them? Why was anyone stupid and lame enough to get sucked into one?!

Also uncool! Also very, very uncool! GETTING KIDNAPPED! Getting kidnapped was anti-cool! Getting kidnapped and making your co-teacher of co-awesome get up in front of a bunch of stupid teenagers and tell them not to get killed, or time-sucked, or whatever the hell happened to you, Barney, because Tink did not like worrying about people who were stupid and dumb and lame enough to get hurt like that and she wasn't worried and shut up!

There! That was today's assignment: discuss the many reasons why getting attacked by angels was the least cool thing ever. And then go find people! Ones she didn't care about at all whatsoever! And don't go near the stupid lame ugly statues! Were they dim? Stop that! Any questions!?!

Brooke raised her hand. "Can I be excused to go back to the dorm so I don't have to be outside where the statues are any longer than I possibly have to? That's sort of the assignment, right?"

Did she think that people who got kidnapped were lame and stupid and should never, ever, leave Tink to teach by herself, Barney?!

Very well, she was a very clever girl and she could go. A for the day. But only if she didn't get kidnapped on her way back.
