Library [03/10]

As soon as Sam came in to open the library, he was struck with the sudden need to organize things. Giving in to the urge seemed easier than ignoring it, and luckily, he had plenty of coffee to get him through the task.

"I'm good," Dean said. "Things seem to be dying down to normal weird and I didn't have to spring clean my room."

Sam laughed. "Yeah, there hasn't been much to clean around here either, thankfully."

"It's a library, Sammy. All there would be to clean would be books."

"There's the tables too, and you should see how messy the desk gets sometimes," Sam said.

Dean just stared at Sammy. "Dude, it's a desk. So it gets covered in papers or shit..."

"And then you can't find anything you're looking for, and stuff gets lost...it's easier to just clean," Sam replied.

"I can always find what I'm looking for," Dean said. "Eventually."

"Well, I don't feel like settling for eventually here," Sam said. "And I'm not the only one who has to know where everything is."

"Yeah, but I could be sitting anywhere in the library," Sam said. "I can only sit here because I'm an aide."

Dean got up and dragged his chair around to the other side of the desk, plopping back down in it beside Sammy.

Sam quickly put his hand on his sandwich to protect it, just in case.
