Mac would have been reshelving books today.

That is to say, she would've been, were she not dodging rabid cleaning supplies.

In her opinion, dusters that move on their own are infinitely worse than the dust bunnies that made the mess in the first place.

"I can see where that may be a problem." Said the man still wearing a sort of uniform of nondescript blues as he didn't wish to venture into any stores.

"My former roommate used to give me advice on clothes," River said. "Perhaps someone can help you with that."

He looked down at his clothing. "They are still wearable."

"Might help you in distancing yourself from you former occupation." Here she smirked. "Am uncertain whether a blonde wig suits you though."

There was a hint of an image in his head, quickly put away before it could form completely.

Captain Reynolds in shawl had been amusing, to say the least.

River's eyes widened a little, then she relaxed. "No, simply an assessment of suitable clothing."

He had gotten too relaxed in this conversation. Training had to be remembered around River Tam.

"Perhaps I will look into more clothing."

He made a mild face. "I should hope this is not a plan to get me in a dress."

River looked slightly offended. "Already told you. Doesn't suit you. I'm sure even Adah agrees."

"Miss Price has an odd sense of humor."

River couldn't argue with that. An irresistable odd sense of humour even. She nodded. "Taking a slight interest in things like fashion will make you feel more human." She spoke from experience.

"Talk to Romeo," she said, then rose from the chair. "Will let you continue with paperwork now. Enjoying the anachronisms?"

It had yet to be actually used.
