Since Lee had been kind enough to cover his shift on Monday, Sam was in the library today. He was hoping for a quiet day, so he could do some more researching.

Sam was all too happy to have something to look up on the computer, so he could feel useful despite being here on the wrong day. "It doesn't look like any books on neurology are out," he said, "so they're yours for the taking."

Maybe having something to read would improve her bedside manner if someone had to come into the clinic in the evening. It was a hopeful thought.

Very hopeful. But, hey, if Sam desired to make the suggestion that she put more attention into her bedside manner rather than focusing on giving her patients the attention they needed, she'd be willing to listen, of course. For now, though, she gave a short, slightly jerking nod. "Good," she said, and limped her way towards the shelves she knew she'd be needing, because she certainly didn't need any more of his help.
