Lulu went over the recipe, explaining what each of the different terms -- such as 'simmer' -- meant. "Also," she said, "you will be making biscuits to go along with the stew. Everything you need is available at your stations. Please, pair up -- again, with a new partner, someone you haven't yet worked with -- and go to your stations."

"Sounds easy enough," Harry agreed. "We can give it a shot. I mean, if the pot explodes, or the stove does, as least we won't have to eat our efforts?"

"Miss Lulu did step in before the toaster really did catch on fire when Cassandra and I worked together, so I don't think she'd let it get that bad."

"That's comforting," Harry said. "So. I guess we attempt to cook now?"

"We probably should," Makoto agreed, "after you?"
