Library [Sunday, January 13]

Lee was back in the library today, going over a few things from his first week of classes. That lasted all of five minutes before he was kicked back in his chair, staring at the ceiling and thinking of absolutely nothing at all.

"Mmm," Adah said, her thoughtful countenance broken by a light chuckle, "you do make such convincing arguments. You should be a lawyer or something."

She did, however, lean in again, slightly, and carefully. Try as she might, though, she couldn't make it seem smooth and slight, making her cheeks go a little pink at the complete lack of subtly.

Making another soft sound, Adah grinned at the Eel and ducked her forehead toward his. "True; you probably would make a better pilot."

Adah's smile broadened, her laugh light and quiet. "That's very true." He wasn't talking as much today, and that was just fine with Adah. She was getting a little tired of talking anyway and, well, since she was already there, she concluded her point with a slight shifting to kiss him. She was surprised it took her this long to even get to that part.

Adah allowed herself to languidly linger in the light alliterated kiss before she slowly, reluctantly pulled back to point out, "This? Is a pretty good hint for that whole entertainment issue we discussed earlier, by the way." Promptly, her piece said, she leaned in to continue where she left off with the kissing.

"You said some things should be," Adah muttered lazily, almost drowsily to match the heaviness of her eyelids as she pressed lightly into the kiss. Despite the lightness in the brushing of her lips, though, there was an eagerness there that made up for her lack of ability.

After a small sound in the back of her throat as the kiss hardened, Adah didn't feel it was necessary to say anything more. Far be it from her to waste unnecessary words, after all, especially at a time like this. It took nearly everything she had, anyway, to hold herself up as she leaned over the desk, desperately trying to just not fall under the sway and depend on that kiss and the man behind it to hold her up.

And, really, that was all the Eel needed to be effective, thanks to those damn oversensitive neurons that had her letting out a soft sigh as she fought against melting against the kisses, caused an occasional, sharp twitch through the arm she was depending on supporting her when the flickering tongue made its surprising appearance, but only if her toes weren't curling slightly in her shoes first. It was a pity that it couldn't continue on further or even much longer. Even if it weren't for the public space, she'd have to cut her time short eventually so that she could make it to the clinic in time for her shift. Couldn't be late for that...although it would certainly be worth it.
