"I'm offering pizza and really bad action movies," he said, deciding he wasn't letting go until she agreed. "Possibly popcorn, but I might need to check my supplies."

Like they'd get to the popcorn. "I'm thinking that sounds like a pretty good plan," she said. Best way to avoid thinking about things, such as how out there today really was, was to stay distracted and he was excellent at helping her out with that.

There was always the possibility that they would get to the popcorn. "Good," he said, pulling back a little to look at her. "Wanna help pick out the pizza?"

"Pre-activity activity," she said. "I'm in." And it should keep him from hitting on looklikes in the interim.

"Great," he smiled down at her, happy she'd agreed. "We could go now, or stay like this a little longer." Because hey, he really didn't have a problem with it.

"The longer we stay here, the bigger the odds of me running into a duplicate of me or other various relatives," she said. "I think I'm done with that for the day."

"There are other duplicates of your family?" He was suddenly very worried about having two Anakin's in town.

"One of the new students is a pretty exact likeness of my dead grandmother," she told him. "I just saw her picture for the first time last week and surprise..."

John cringed, because the almost twin hadn't been enough. "Wow, that's pretty insane."

"Office hours this week should be interesting. I like her, but it's really strange," she sighed. "So between the two things, I'd much rather spend time with you. Weird, I know."

"Aww, that makes me feel special," he smirked. "And yet I'm willing to help."
