Welcome to Monday's study hall.
I'll just be sitting at my desk, reading "Guns and Ammo".

What the hell is up with Janet? She keeps talking about herself in the third person. This is worse then PMS, dude.

"Hey buddy! What's going on?"

Want a free CD? I still have three left. Also, opportunity to throw water around on the dorm roof. And on girls. Always fun. Come help us with the School Beautification this afternoon, after classes?

"Hey, guys."
She pulls out her notebook, a suspicious-looking bowl of jell-o, and a box of animal crackers, which she opens and leaves out on the desk.

"I haven't seen Janet since Friday
when I painted her with edible body paint and sent her over to Daniel's house. I dropped by yesterday, but she said she had a really bad headache. She never even opened the door."Her brow furrowed in worry for her friend. If Daniel did or said anything dumb that had hurt Janet, it was going to get ugly.

I will love you guys forever if you help me, Zero, Angela, Hamlet, and Joan clean off the roof today. Please? Please? Please? There will be plenty of opportunities to get the guys in wet T-Shirts.... and Free CD's if you're the first five to sign up.

She passed the note on to Crichton, then began drafting her own note on a piece of paper torn from her notebook. She folded it carefully and precisely. She tossed it towards Parker, but in her anxiety misjudged the angle, so it landed at the other girl's feet.
It read:
Parker--
Can't today. Very sorry, but highly volitile and dangerous situation on the horizon. Next time?

Later this week, if you can, then? Stuck with stupid groundskeeping 'til Friday.
Can I help with the volatile? Should I "duck and cover"?

If I can, you've got me for as long as you need me. If I need the help I think I'm going to need, you'll definitely be at the very top of the list of people to call. Not a duck and cover situation--and definitely one that might need to be handled "by the girls" and with some discretion.

Help us out cleaning the roof after classes? First five sign-ups get free CD's. Plus, if you talk Vala into helping, I promise I'll dump water on her for an impromptu wet T-shirt contest.

*reads and splutters slightly at the last remark, looks around for Parker and mouths* Fine.
