"We find ourselves," Lulu said, as the class began, "at the end of our time together as a class. This means that it is time for your final examination.

"You should see before each of you a booklet and a pencil; you will have the entire class period to answer one question. I will say now that there is no one right answer to this final. What I am looking for is honesty and analysis of the course material." She wrote out the question on the board: What is the most important thing you, personally, have learned in this class, and why?

"If you wish to speak to me about the final, or about anything else, I will be in my office all the rest of the week. You can come by any time.

"You have one hour starting now. Good luck; I trust you all to do your best."

Gavin wrote an essay on how a lot of things in this class made him blush and how he'd probably never ever need that knowledge but it was always good to know things just in case you ran into somebody with those beliefs. He also jumbled some stuff down about pleasing your partner and always making sure things were okay with them before trying anything new.
