"We find ourselves," Lulu said, as the class began, "at the end of our time together as a class. This means that it is time for your final examination.

"You should see before each of you a booklet and a pencil; you will have the entire class period to answer one question. I will say now that there is no one right answer to this final. What I am looking for is honesty and analysis of the course material." She wrote out the question on the board: What is the most important thing you, personally, have learned in this class, and why?

"If you wish to speak to me about the final, or about anything else, I will be in my office all the rest of the week. You can come by any time.

"You have one hour starting now. Good luck; I trust you all to do your best."

There was a lot for Haku to consider and he took it all as a learning experience, and he wrote on everything from a mostly scientific and medical view. Though he did admit on a few lines that he had new personal knowledge for things if he ever found himself in the situation to use Lulu's teachings.
