NNSE, Monday, First Period [Dec 17]

"We find ourselves," Lulu said, as the class began, "at the end of our time together as a class. This means that it is time for your final examination.

"You should see before each of you a booklet and a pencil; you will have the entire class period to answer one question. I will say now that there is no one right answer to this final. What I am looking for is honesty and analysis of the course material." She wrote out the question on the board: What is the most important thing you, personally, have learned in this class, and why?

"If you wish to speak to me about the final, or about anything else, I will be in my office all the rest of the week. You can come by any time.

"You have one hour starting now. Good luck; I trust you all to do your best."

[Comments might go NSFW, as this is Lulu's class. Perhaps not the most traditional of finals, but then Lulu's not the most traditional of teachers. ;) Pls to be waiting for OCD is up!]

Re: Write Your Final

After a good moment of considering the best way to answer the question, Turtle wrote, in what sounded heavily like a legal document, that the most important thing she's learned is that it was entirely possible to be conservative in your views of what one likes regarding the subject matter and still keep an open mind about the fact that everyone was different. Everyone liked different things, and as long as there was a proper agreement (the word contract appeared at least once, in an example, regarding her own experience), then it was all okay. So, for example, it was okay that one's significant other might have a seemingly unhealthy obsession with breasts, so long as it didn't interfere with the fact that she had no interest in them, nor did she really have them herself.

The end.
