The Library

Janet slides gracefully down the halls of Fandom High, surveying everyone she passes. She reaches the door to the library, flips the sign to open, and walks in.

Today Janet is wearing makeup. Janet has never once worn makeup and only occasionally painted her nails. Her finger and toe nails are painted a burnished copper, her lips are a dark red, and her eyes have been rimmed with green and copper eye shadow, and thick black eyeliner, almost like kohl. She is wearing sandals, a long, spreading russet orange skirt, and a midriff-baring black tank top that looks suspiciously like it might belong to Aeryn.

Oddly enough, she has no coffee on hand.

John, having seen her slip into the library and still confused from the night before, catches up with her.

"Yo, Janet. When did you and Aeryn start swapping clothes? And can you help me find a copy of Great Expectations?"

Belthazor headed into the library before class, looking for Janet or the librarian. Hopefully he'd be able to talk his way into the Special Collections, as he had a feeling what he was looking for wouldn't be on the unrestricted shelves.

*attempts to control the look of irritation and reminds herself that she is, for now, a student and not in her rightful place*

Janet looks up from her seat at the table and stares at John consideringly.

Polite. Remain polite, even with such an uncouth-- He dares to question the choices we have made of which garb best adorns our form? Restrained. Calm. Dignified.

"Did I not explain that there was no other properly befitting attire yesterday?" snaps Janet. She types in a few things on her laptop, which is displaying characters which are most definitively not English. "Third case on the left, ten rows up. Don't fall on the ladder and break your neck."

*smiles at Zero* Enlightening. And yours?

The tone of Janet's voice, however, leaves no doubt as to whether or not she would be pleased if Crichton fell and broke his neck.

Isaac has found himself in the library and scanning the several scentific tomes found within. Upon seeing movement out of the corner of his eye as he re-shelves a book he had pulled down to skim through, his eyebrows rise slightly. No girl he had ever known in Vale had ever painted herself, thus is why she gets a curious look from the young adept.

Janet looked different from the other morning, but Belthazor had only met her once, so what did he know about her style choices? She was looking pretty hot.

"Hi, Janet," he said, flashing her his best charming smile. "I wanted to talk to you about getting into the Special Collections. I have a project I'm working on for one of the professors."

*finishes typing on her laptop, then closes it and stands gracefully and makes her way slowly and languidly to a small cupboard, which she unlocks*

OOC: Body language is so not Janet's, as you can tell from the description. Also, Janet's manage to acquire a WonderBra somewhere along the line.

Isaac smiles and nods in greeting, then turns back to his books, pulling another from the shelf and flipping through the pages quickly. Still nothing... He thinks as he shuts the book and slides it back onto the shelf.

Janet looked up and glanced at the student. Male, strong, attractive, and not as annoying as Crichton or Mitchell. They would cultivate this one's acquaintance, though it seemed that this body knew him already. She tore through the host's memories, ripping a conversation in the hallway out of the host's grasp. "Belthazor." Janet's answering smile was seductive. "I'm always willing to help with special projects. What are you looking for?"

OOC: How is it that everyone always looks better when they're evil? ;) Of course, it helps when you're playing a man-hungry Goa'uld queen.

John frowns. "Yeah, I remember that. I just didn't remember Aeryn being into swapping clothing. You sure you're feeling all right?" John reaches up in an attempt to feel Janet's head for a fever.

Well... yes and no. The basic idea does, but the colouring...doesn't quite suit you.

Lee walks with a purpose into the library and, as he reaches the section he's beginning to call his second home, he is only momentarily distracted by the stranger -- no, just Janet -- at the front desk.

Janet notices Lee walk in and stares at him very appraisingly. A small smile plays on her lips.

"Kalderash?" asks Janet. She types something into her laptop. "We are not familiar with such a name, but will attempt to ascertain its origins. The search will take some time." She looks up at him, approving of the intensity he carries in his body language. "Which professor are you working on a project for?"

OOC: *stares at your icon again* I'm sorry, were you saying something?

Lee pulls out his laptop and begins typing up new notes from the books he didn't get to this weekend.
