The Library

Janet slides gracefully down the halls of Fandom High, surveying everyone she passes. She reaches the door to the library, flips the sign to open, and walks in.

Today Janet is wearing makeup. Janet has never once worn makeup and only occasionally painted her nails. Her finger and toe nails are painted a burnished copper, her lips are a dark red, and her eyes have been rimmed with green and copper eye shadow, and thick black eyeliner, almost like kohl. She is wearing sandals, a long, spreading russet orange skirt, and a midriff-baring black tank top that looks suspiciously like it might belong to Aeryn.

Oddly enough, she has no coffee on hand.

Janet is sitting behind the desk, typing away on her laptop.

Today Janet is wearing makeup. Janet looked different from the other morning, but Belthazor had only met her once, so what did he know about her style choices? She was looking pretty hot.

"Hi, Janet," he said, flashing her his best charming smile. "I wanted to talk to you about getting into the Special Collections. I have a project I'm working on for one of the professors."

Janet looked up and glanced at the student. Male, strong, attractive, and not as annoying as Crichton or Mitchell. They would cultivate this one's acquaintance, though it seemed that this body knew him already. She tore through the host's memories, ripping a conversation in the hallway out of the host's grasp. "Belthazor." Janet's answering smile was seductive. "I'm always willing to help with special projects. What are you looking for?"

OOC: How is it that everyone always looks better when they're evil? ;) Of course, it helps when you're playing a man-hungry Goa'uld queen.

He put his hands on the desk and leaned forward. "Does the name 'Kalderash' mean anything to you? Probably something mystically related."


[OOC: Evil = hotness!]

"Kalderash?" asks Janet. She types something into her laptop. "We are not familiar with such a name, but will attempt to ascertain its origins. The search will take some time." She looks up at him, approving of the intensity he carries in his body language. "Which professor are you working on a project for?"

OOC: *stares at your icon again* I'm sorry, were you saying something?

We? Oh, she probably meant herself and the librarian. "Professor Drusilla," he said smoothly in answer to her question. "I'm doing some independent study with her. Should I, uh, wait here or come back later?"

"You may remain," says Janet, with the grace of one granting a petitioning subject. "It shall not be much longer."

Wow, put her behind a desk and she got imperious. Whatever, so long as he got the information he was looking for. "Thanks," he said, idly browing a shelf of nearby books.

"We have further information," said Janet, smiling over at Belthazor. "A number of texts, both mystical and historical. What keywords shall we use to narrow them down?"

"Try crystal ball or orb to start with," he suggested, keeping his voice low in case anyone was eavesdropping.

[janet_fraiser]

"Narrowing down the results further will take less time," Janet infored him as she typed in the keywords. The results come up quickly. "There is one text in Special Collections that discusses 'spirit vaults' in conjunction with an orb of some kind. Do you have the Professor Drusilla's library card?"

"That sounds exactly like what I'm looking for," he said. Then he frowned. "Do I need her library card? She didn't seem to think I did. I kinda really need to take a look at the book today and she doesn't have office hours, so it's hard to track her down. Is there any way I can take a look at it without her card? Please?" He grinned. "I can get you some of that coffee we talked about a few days ago."

"Normally, you would need her library card," says Janet, standing. "But today we do not feel like adhering to ridiculous standards and guidelines put in place by foolish old men." She shoots a glare at the professor, who by this time is talking to Zero about her hours, then grabs the key to Special Collections. "Shall we?"

Luck was with him in the form of Janet having an apparent argument with the librarian. Worked for him. "Lead on," he said.
