Sam got to the library a little early, but he figured that just gave him more time to work on what he had planned for the day.

Peter laughed. "Yeah, that would come in handy. 'course then again maybe that means she'd keep a closer eye on him. Make sure he sets a good example."

"He is the older one, after all. He should be setting a good example for me and Grace," Sam said.

"Heck, the rest of the student body," Peter said. "I think you should mention that to him."

Sam laughed. "Oh yeah, I'm sure that would go over very well."

"Can I watch?"

"Sure. It would probably be smart to have someone with healing powers around."

Peter chuckled. "Hey, the invisibility can be shared too."

"Ooh, I'll have to keep that in mind," Sam said around a mouthful of donut. "That could come in very handy."

"One of these days I'll have to use that for something other than making people spit up their coffee," Peter said.

"I'm sure that there are practical, helpful uses for that power. And hey, it's not dangerous, so you can practice all you want."

"Helpful I've found, dunno if I'd say practical," Peter said with a grin.

"Helpful's a good start," Sam replied. "The practical might come along later."

"Meanwhile I'm enjoying the helpful," Peter said. "Turns out it makes a nice icebreaker too."

"Are we defining icebreaker as you scaring people by sneaking up on them?"

"More like getting past the doozy of a first step towards kissing them," Peter replied.

"Oh?" Sam said, before realization kicked in. "Oh. So, uh, your date went well then?"

"He made curry," Peter said. "If I was that kind of guy I think I'd be obligated to sleep with him. As it was I was impressed."

"I told you he was a good cook," Sam said. He decided not to comment on the possibly sleeping with him part.

"You did not lie," Peter said. "I may have to take shameless advantage of that again. If he's up to it. But I think the night went pretty well."

Sam gave Peter a genuine smile. "Good, I'm glad," he said. "I was hoping you'd have a good time."

"It was," Peter said. "I liked how he remembered my boundaries, even when I had a hard time doing it."

"That's good, that he was respectful," Sam said, before smirking softly. "Sounds like you've got another area where you need to learn how to control yourself."

"I dunno," Peter said, with a grin. "I don't think Ronan seemed to mind."

"Oh. Well, if he doesn't mind...then I guess it's up to you as to what happens."

"Figure I'll play it by ear," Peter said. "I like him though. He's more of a gentleman than people give him credit for."
