Comparative Religions--Monday, Period #3, Class #12--Oral Presentations

"Good morning! Now, those of you who were paying attention may have noticed that I forgot to have you give the oral presentations about living as a member of the religion for a week. Some of you may not have done the assignment at all due to the plague and the fact that I forgot about it for a couple of weeks afterward."

"However, that should not stop you from giving an oral presentation! If you did the assignment, I want to hear how it went. If it didn't, either make something up or deliver a speech about what you found out about the religion in preparation for living as a member for the week, or give a presentation as if you were a member--or leader--of that religion. What would you say to bring people into the religion or convert them from the religion they've already got? Why is yours better?"

"I guess what I really want to get going is a debate. Find someone and try to proselytize."

Adah was listening to the lecture, to a certain degree. There was, after all, only one word of the whole thing she'd be able to actually understood, after all, and, when she heard it, she wrote it down.

Eight times. Sprawled across her paper eight time, with slow, careful movements of her pencil as her mouth formed the word at the same pace, she topped the otherwise blank piece of paper with exactly eight, carefully unified you's.

And then she started drawing random pictures, as opposed to listening to anything else.

Eve was listening. And taking notes.

... And maybe doodling in the margins.

Johnny took notes on the lecture. He got distracted partway through, and ended up filling his margins with doodles, but was back taking notes by the end of class.

Lana talked quite knowledgeably about Wiccans.

Gwynn did a very good presentation about Druidism.

Z gave a good, if slightly babbly--Bridge's influence was clearly showing--presentation on Judaism.

Blackheart gave a very preachy sort of presentation on *insert faith here*, which was laced with snark, insult, and irony. Did he care if anyone was offended? Not particularly.

Did the mun? Oh yes.

Johnny did a pretty good presentation on Christianity, although he struggled to remember all the details at some points.
