Library [Saturday]

It was officially December now, so Mac didn't feel at all bad for being wrapped up in quite a few layers when she opened the library today. It was cold.

She'll probably get through quite a bit of coffee today.

Adah followed, at her own slow, limping pace with her original book tucked tightly again her chest. Once there, Adah bent down a moment to set her book on the floor, freeing up her arm to pull out one of the books Mac had tapped. An odd, awkward moment of rearranging had Adah managing to open the book and balance it in the crook of her arm, taking a moment to pass her eyes over the random page.

Luckily, the random page had a diagram that Adah recognized and could accept as proof that the rest of the books would contain similar things. She gave Mac a short nod, slightly distracted, a way of dismissing her and thanking her at at once before, carefully, she lowered herself so that she could sit on the floor, so the book could sit in her lap, freeing her hand again to flip pages.

Mac assumed she'd found what she wanted and nodded. "Right. I'll... leave you to it," she said. "If you need anything else, you know where to find me."
