I cannot lecture you on three weeks' of material in one--well, I could, but you would not understand a word I said--so. At your desks, you will find information and worksheets on trigonometry, geometry, and variables. All of this is due next week. Bonne chance."

Through almost the whole of class, Adah just say there, frowning as she leaned slightly in with an ear turned toward the teacher and her eyes locked into nothing else but her own concentration. No matter how hard to tried to focus, it was still all mush to her. But at least some things, small things, were starting to sound somewhat familiar, even if she didn't know what they meant.
