NNSE, Monday, Period 1 [Nov 26]

"Sometimes," Lulu began, almost as if mid-thought, "one looks for a little variety in one's life. There are many ways to do this: new positions, new activities -- new partners -- but there is another, quite simple method to achive this variety: sexual aids, also known as sex toys.

"There are a number of different sex toys [NSFW] available, for a wide variety of uses, each of which can bring something different to your sexual experience. For example, clitoral stimulators can aid women in achieving orgasm when they find themselves having difficulty in doing so, whereas dildos -- of all varieties -- are useful during both masturbation, for vaginal or anal penetration without a partner, and intercourse, to either doubly penetrate a female, or to penetrate a male while he is penetrating his partner.

"Today," Lulu continued, "I'd like you each to write out a short report -- no more than a paragraph or two -- on which sex toy you do, or think you would, like the most. Please, keep this to generalities; I don't wish to be reading the tales of your sexual escapades -- at least, not today. Limit it to considering which sex toy would be best for you, based on what you understand of your body's responses." It wasn't exactly a test, but Lulu did have concerns regarding how well some members of the class were considering their lessons in further understanding of their own bodies, and this seemed to be an effective -- and relatively private -- method of gauging it. "Again, it needs only be short. Are there any questions?"

[NSFW, as Lulu's classes usually are. Please wait for OCD is up!]

Turtle is taking her usual, no-nonsense notes, with a bit more confidence because she totally already knew about this sort of thing from Iss Aly.

Anemone took notes, punctuated by little doodles in the margin of her own personal thoughts, ideas, and funny faces that might have resembled the various expressions on her classmates' faces.

Katara took desultory notes, trying hard not to pay attention to the lecture. Because really. Brother. Right in the room.

Re: Assignment: Short Report [Nov 26]

[identity profile] stocksgrrl.livejournal.com 2007-11-26 04:32 pm (UTC)(link)
After a long moment of frowning thought, tapping the end of her pen against her chin and looking through the materials, Turtle finally came up with what she felt was a satisfactory answer:

"Considering the highly personal and potentially exploitative (in the wrong hands) nature of this question, I do not feel that it would be an intelligent move on my part to put my opinion into writing, as it could eventually leave me liable in future endeavors, as some people are just jerkfaces and will use everything they can against you. For that reason, I wish to request avoiding such a permanent fashion of divulging this information for legal and personal reasons."

"...The End."

River couldn't decide. She tried very hard but all she came up with was half a page of explanation in which situation she would prefer which sex toy and why. The report might have contained too much information.

[personal profile] the_merriest 2007-11-26 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Rikku's report was a page and a half explaining why she absolutely totally would never consider using things like that and the many reasons why they were wrong and weird and gross and besides, she didn't think about things like that and who made things like this anyway and wow, people were really strange and she wasn't going to answer the question at all.

At the very, very bottom, in tiny print, there was a sentence admitting that if she absolutely had to name something because it was an assignment and all then maybe the butterfly things looked sort of interesting.

Inara wrote a report about how toys were nice, but a completely unnecessary expense and complication if you were ingenious enough. She then went on to give numerous examples of how everyday items could be used in place of those mentioned, and how proper training was always preferable to electronic devices.

She might have been showing a bit of a bias there, yes.

Sokka wrote a few sentences on how toys were fine and all that, but he was perfectly okay with his hand, thank you very much.

Then he realized Katara and Evie probably wouldn't ever read the paper, so he wrote a paragraph on how the Real Doll was all kinds of awesome.

[identity profile] death-of-hope.livejournal.com 2007-11-27 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
After thinking for a bit, Anemone jotted out a half-page about how she couldn't believe that there were so many toys, and asking Miss Lulu if she knew how people come up with some of these ideas.

That said, if she had to pick one, it would probably be the butterfly thinggie, just because it looked neat, and Anemone freely admitted to being easily distracted by shiny things.

Ah, the flailing was back.
