Ares grinned at his class as they filed in. "I trust you all had a good week, I know I did."

"In light of recent...unexplained happenings, I'm going to shift back todays planned lesson in order to tackle fashions of the future. I want to to extrapolate forwards to what you think will be the height of fashion in, say, twenty years time. Work in groups if you want, or alone if you prefer."

"Oh, and Adama, you know the drill, shirt off."

"I think he's taking Bart's death pretty hard," Peter said. "Couldn't hurt to keep an eye on him. Make sure he's okay."

"I'm doing pretty good," she smiled. Okay, beamed. "My holiday plans got changed, which kind of stinks in some ways, not so much in others, but other then that life is good."

Isabel gave a little laugh, remembering a conversation they'd had in the midst of the sickness. "So how badly did Nathan freak out when you finally talked to him?"

"Pretty sure I'm still deaf in one year," Peter said, giving her a wry smile. "Lucky for me it's the holiday. I was able to talk Nathan down from 'Home now' to the regular schedule for me heading back."

"Damn, you've found me out." Shaking her head sadly, Isabel shrugged, "You're right. It's not you. It's all about the pizza."

"I know. It was getting scary at the end." Isabel studied Peter for a moment, noticing the attempt at hiding.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

And suddenly his reactions made sense. Unfortunately Isabel didn't have any answers for him. "The only person who was in danger was you. You were going to wear yourself out. You never once did anything that would jeopardize anyone else."

"I don't like how I could have," Peter said. His shoulders slumped. "Guess I need more practice."

"Practice is good," she agreed. "But honestly? I think you're so aware of what could happen? That conscious or not you won't let yourself."

Isabel might be hopelessly optimistic, or she just might have that much faith in him.

It was Peter, which meant she was willing to bet money he'd still worry. Which meant, he needed a distraction.

"So Ronan's looking better then he was. We had ice cream Saturday night."
