Communication - Thursday, Period 5

"Journal entries are good way of chronicalling events on a personal level and conveying your opinions and feelings about events to other people. Traditionally, journals have been kept as a means of keeping a record, such as a ship's log or the written diary of a traveller. Recently, keeping a journal has become a popular internet activity. Internet patrons generally call this 'blogging'. Today, I'd like you to write a journal entry. You don't have to hand it in at the end of class, so this is only for your own personal benefit. Try to capture your take on events, how you perceive them and how you feel about them. If you're unable to write, find another method of expressing yourself."

Rodney didn't quite follow the assignment. Instead of a journal entry, he started writing notes on his research from that morning. He hoped that reviewing what he'd already looked at might cause something he had previously dismissed to stand out.

Chris is not plague-y - but after a wake-up call finding out his roommate is (on top of his girlfriend and his charge), he is so not making it to class.
